DEDICATED TO PRESERVING A HISTORIC LANDMARK DESIGNED BY RENOWNED ARCHITECT, JULIA MORGAN

The mission of The Monday Club Conservancy is to preserve and restore the historic landmark known as The Monday Club, to provide public access to the landmark for educational purposes, and to carry on other charitable and educational activities associated with this goal.

The Monday Club building was designed by Julia Morgan, the first woman licensed as an architect in the State of California and designer of Hearst Castle. In 2013, Morgan was posthumously awarded the American Institute of Architects highest honor, the Gold Medal, 56 years after her death. She is the first woman to ever be given the award. Yearly events are held to raise funds for the preservation and restoration of the historic clubhouse building and grounds to ensure that it will be enjoyed by present and future generations. The Monday Club Conservancy (TMCC) may also receive funding from grants, memorial gifts and pledges.
