We are proud of the many things Monday Club members have done for our Community. Here are some highlights!

| 1926: | Lighted US Route 101 city entrances | 
| 1927: | Requested milk and meat inspections; lobbied for stop signs; beautified the city by planting nasturtiums in vacant lots; supported Children’s Home/Sunny Acres; preserved Painted Rock and Dinosaur Caves; planted city trees; acquired city lease for Mitchell Park; lobbied for Southern Pacific passenger depot | 
| 1928: | Landscaped Mitchell Park; peak club membership of 350 | 
| 1930: | Purchased property and incorporated The Monday Club; first walking tour and brochure; preserved General Fremont's campsite | 
| 1930-1934: | Raised funds to build a clubhouse during the Great Depression | 
| 1932: | Engaged Julia Morgan, Architect to design The Monday Club | 
| 1934: | Completed The Monday Club building | 
| 1940-50: | Held annual flower shows with up to 460 entries | 
| 1942: | Raised $15,022 at Victory Tea to purchase war bonds | 
| 1943: | Collected 30 tons of scrap metal | 
| 1942-45: | Scanned the night skies for enemy planes | 
| 1949: | Raised funds for band uniforms at San Luis Obispo High School | 
| 1951: | Raised funds for Nuss Pool at San Luis Obispo High School | 
| 1962: | Awarded first music scholarships | 
| 1968: | Donated Portola Fountain at the intersection of Marsh and Higuera Streets | 
| 1974: | Initiated Art Scholarships | 
| 1978: | Planted trees at Meadow Park | 
| 1982: | Fundraised in support of new facility for Children's Home; organized SLO Friends of the Library | 
| 1983: | Commenced support of Women's Shelter | 
| 1994: | Added Scholastic Achievement Awards to annual high school music & art awards and renamed it the Tri-Awards | 
| 1997: | Awarded Meritorious Upkeep of Historical Building from San Luis Obispo Beautiful Association | 
| 2002: | Recognized by Cuesta College for Re-Entry Scholarship donations | 
| 2000-14: | Hosted local architectural tours | 
| 2014: | Commenced support of the national Raising a Reader program by raising funds for books and volunteering at school sites; brought focus back to music and art and renamed the Tri-Awards the Fine Arts Awards | 
| 2016: | The Monday Club nominated to the National Register of Historic Places | 
| 2017: | Established The Monday Clubhouse Conservancy to protect and preserve the historic clubhouse | 
| 2019: | Completed restoration of the building and grounds | 
| 2020-21: | Continued to meet monthly online via video Zoom throughout the COVID-19 pandemic | 
| 2021: | Began partnership with the national Raising a Reader program and as of 2025 donated over 15,000 books to children throughout SLO County | 
| 2022: | Launched Living History Docent Tours where member docents dress in 1930’s period clothing and give tours of the building and grounds | 
| 2023: | Landscape rehabilitation made possible by a grant from the Harold J. Miossi Charitable Trust | 
| 2024: | Celebrated 100 years of enduring impact in the community with several events including the premier of a short documentary “The Monday Club and the Women Who Built It”, by filmmaker Robin Smith and culminating with the Centennial Gala | 
| 2024: | Premiered the short documentary, “The Monday Club and the Women Who Built It” | 
| 2025: | Accepted as an entry at the SLO International Film Festival, “The Monday Club and the Women Who Built It” wins audience award for best local short documentary | 
| TODAY: | The Monday Club preserves the historic Julia Morgan designed clubhouse; donates thousands of books annually to children; hosts the Fine Arts Awards for local high school students each spring |
