The Monday Club of San Luis Obispo is a dedicated group of women serving our community and maintaining our historic building designed by Julia Morgan, the first licensed woman architect in California. Our mission is to enhance the educational, civic, social and cultural quality of the San Luis Obispo community.

About The Monday Club

In 1924, the small town of San Luis Obispo offered very few forums for women to organize, and The Monday Club was established for this purpose. We are very proud of our history and the many wonderful things our members have done. We encourage local women with an interest in the past and future of San Luis Obispo, to join us in our mission to carry on the legacy of the early Monday Club members!

We meet for our general business meeting at 11:00 am for social time, with the meeting beginning at 11:30 am, on the first Monday of each month (September through May) with a few exceptions due to holidays, which may move our meetings to the second Monday of the month.

All of our luncheon and event information for 2017-2018 may be found on our Club Events page.

Please come by the Clubhouse on any Monday from 2-5 pm to have a personally guided tour of our Historic Clubhouse, now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We are closed on National Holidays.

We are excited about the future of our club and new projects to benefit our community. We invite you to find out more about The Monday Club and our mission.
