MEETING PROGRAM: SLO Homeless Services
Our guest speaker will be Linda Belch, Deputy Director of Adult and Child Homeless Services for SLO County. Linda will provide an overview of Social Services, including Homeless Services, and discuss resources and assistance and solution efforts in our county.
After 25 years in public service, 15 of them leading frontline programs such as Child Welfare, Homeless Services, and Adult Protective Services, Linda brings a deep commitment to equity, innovation, and community-centered care. Her career has been defined by a hands-on leadership style, a passion for systems improvement, and a steadfast focus on serving the most vulnerable populations with dignity and compassion.
Linda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and has built a reputation as a strategic, values-driven leader. As Deputy Director of Social Services, she leverages her extensive experience to drive transformative initiatives, strengthen cross-sector partnerships, and champion trauma-informed, data-driven approaches to service delivery.
Her leadership philosophy is grounded in integrity, courage, and empathy. She strives to inspire and empower individuals to thrive in meaningful, sustainable careers in public service. Linda is known for her collaborative spirit, her ability to navigate change, and her unwavering belief in the power of public service to create lasting impact.
