Our special guest speaker for September is our own member, Alina Duhn. As a member of Questers, she is an expert on their mission. Questers is a national organization whose mission is to collect, study, and encourage the preservation and restoration of landmarks and objects of human history. Past local projects include: furnishing the Port San Luis Lighthouse, purchasing vintage dress forms for the SLO County History Center, and restoring and re-framing original artwork associated with the Dallidet Adobe. Alina Duhn is a new first year member to Questers de Tolosa. She looks forward to sharing its current preservation and restoration project for The Monday Clubhouse Conservancy, which is to replace our current front doors with a replica of the Monday Club’s front door, an original piece of architecture designed by Julia Morgan.


Luncheon cost is $20.00 and is due at the door unless you have previously prepaid for the year. Members who have pre-paid for the year also need to make their reservation to indicate their entree choice.

Please note that you MUST have a lunch reservation by September 3, 2018 for this event. You can cancel a reservation within 7 days before the luncheon or you will receive an invoice for $20.00. Prepaid luncheon are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Please come at 11 am for punch and social time before our meeting starts at 11:30 am!

Meat Entree: Summer Salad with Herbed Grilled Chicken Breast, Fresh Stone Fruit, Sheep's Feta, Candied Pecans, Mixed Organic Greens, Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette

Vegetarian Entree: Summer Salad with Chickpeas, Fresh Stone Fruit, Sheep's Feta, Candied Pecans, Mixed Organic Greens,Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette

Served with Artisan Breads & Herb Butter

Dessert: Seasonal Berry Cobbler with Fresh Cream or Fresh Fruit

Punch: Peach Iced Tea

This month donations  (Board will approve the list TBD) to the Women's Shelter are Gas Cards in $25 and $50 denominations. Please visit the Stand Strong/RISE Donations list for this club year for more details.
