We are so happy to welcome CORE Dance as our program this month.  Founder Leslie Baumberger will share about the Company, and we will be treated to live dance as well!

CORE Dance Company was founded by Leslie Baumberger, Stacy Estrada, Rose Patti and Zheila Pouraghabagher in August of 2010 when American Dance closed it’s doors after 38 years of providing young dancers a place to study and perform.These former long time teachers and dancers vowed to continue the high quality dance training and performance opportunities by starting CORE Dance Company of the Central Coast. The hope and dreams of the directors of CORE is to join with the other outstanding dance professionals in the county and give all of our dance students the best, most complete dance education possible.

Along with the ballet based dance training, CORE offers performance opportunities with five levels of performance company (children through adults).  CORE Dance currently has the largest and most diverse dance company on the entire Central Coast.CORE Dance Company mission statement states our intentions best: Providing a high quality dance education and performance opportunities to San Luis Obispo county dancers and to connect dancers to local, national and international communities, introducing audiences to the art of dance.
