November Luncheon

We are excited to hear from Dr. James Brescia at our November Luncheon.  
Dr. Brescia is the San Luis Obispo County Superintendent of Schools Elect and has served as the interim superintendent for Paso Robles Public Schools (PRPS) in recent months. He is a clinical faculty member in the College of Science and Mathematics School of Education at Cal Poly. Prior to his post as Interim Superintendent for PRPS, James served as superintendent for Cayucos Elementary School District. 

Born in Lynwood, California and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, James received his undergraduate degree and teaching credentials from the University of California, San Diego. Dr. B, as his university students call him, completed his administrative services credential at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, his doctorate at the University of California, Santa Barbara and an additional graduate degree from Cal State Dominguez Hills. His daughter Natalie was awarded one of our Fine Arts Scholarship Awards in 2013. James is married to his high school sweetheart, Carolyn. They live in Paso Robles Daughter Danielle is a recent graduate of UC San Diego and Natalie is a sophomore at UC Santa Cruz.
